Infantilization

“Infantilization is defined as the portrayal of grown women acting and looking childish through attire, demeanor, possessions, and/or posture…Infantilization should not be confused with sexualizing children, ages 0-13 years old, but portraying grown woman as a child and then sexualizing that concept” (Carlson 1).

Infantilization is not to be confused with Lolita.
